I've been reading so very many books!
Mostly Terry Pratchett and John Green.
So, I'll do book reviews for a bit.
Hem, hem.
Jingo
Jingo is a Terry Pratchett novel with a pretty obvious theme about how racism and prejudices are just silly.
Jingo starts when the island of Leshp suddenly rises to the surface of the Circle Sea, after having been submerged for quite some time. Ankh-Morpork and Klatch both want the island, because it's in a good strategic place.
There is an attempted assassination, Lord Rust is a douche bag, a "Going-Under-The-Water-Safely-Device", and Nobby Nobs wears a dress.
It is an enjoyable book. Not really my favorite, but really good, just the same. Honestly, I don't think I could actually dislike anything Terry Pratchett has done. That man is amazing.
