Halloween costumes

Costume shops are experiencing a mad rush as customers try to get hold of Halloween costumes at the last minute.
One of such shops is Costumes Empire at Wisma Central here which was swarming with customers during lunch hour yesterday.
Owner Rose Shearer said the demand for costumes during Halloween, which is celebrated on Oct 31, increased every year.
“This year, some customers made reservations two months before Halloween. But we could not do that as the earliest we allow people to book is three weeks in advance,” Shearer said.
